Every summer Romance Writers of America puts on its annual "Readers for Life" booksigning benefit featuring hundreds of romance authors, all signing their latest titles. The event is free and open to the public. Every year the benefit raises thousands of dollars, with all proceeds from this gala event donated to literacy causes.
